AB 1565
California Assembly Bill (AB) 1565 is a new law that went into effect on January 1, 2014. This law requires a school district with over 2,500 students to pre-qualify bidders (General and M/E/P subcontractors) for construction contracts awarded on or after January 1, 2014 if the total project value is $1,000,000 or more,and if the project is funded, in whole or in part, with State bond funds. In accordance with AB 1565, 麻豆果冻传媒 will utilize a pre-qualification process. Bidders may pre-qualify with 麻豆果冻传媒 by applying online.
麻豆果冻传媒鈥檚 Board votes to support 鈥榮afe haven鈥 schools
Sacramento City Unified School District鈥檚 Board of Education voted unanimously Thursday to designate 麻豆果冻传媒 schools as 鈥渟afe havens鈥 that protect students regardless of immigration status.
鈥淪tudents cannot learn in an environment of fear,鈥 said Board Vice President Jessie Ryan. 鈥淟ast night, by unanimously passing the Safe Haven School District resolution, our district made a strong statement that we hear our community鈥檚 fears and will do everything in our power to protect all students irrespective of race, ethnicity, religious beliefs, sexual preference or immigration status.鈥
