What: The Sacramento City Unified School District Board of Trustees will vote to approve Mr. Jorge Aguilar as the district’s next Superintendent at their May 4th meeting. Mr. Aguilar comes to Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ from the Fresno Unified School District where he has served as a Deputy Superintendent for the past nine years, playing an instrumental role in significantly improving Fresno’s graduation rates. The Sacramento City Unified School District is requesting proposals from providers of solid waste disposal and recycling services.

West Campus celebrates state basketball varsity win with victory rally on Friday morning
WHAT: The Sacramento City Unified School District will host a victory rally honoring the West Campus girls’ varsity basketball team for winning the CIF state championship. Local elected and community leaders and all students on campus will gather in the school gym to honor the team, present medals and hold a victory rally.
