ACHIEVING SHARED GOALS IN SERVICE OF OUR STUDENTS In negotiations with SCTA, the district is offering: On top of already providing the highest compensation in the region, the District is offering to pay: 100% of health care coverage for ALL SCTA-represented employees AND their families, AND a raise, AND one-time bonuses, AND additional paid professional development days. 100% PAY INCREASE ONE TIME BONUSES MORE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT INCREASED PAY FOR SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS PAID COVERAGE 鈥 Ongoing 3% salary increase starting in the 2021-22 school year. . On Wednesday, March 30, the Sacramento City Unified School District (麻豆果冻传媒) negotiations team met with SCTA throughout the afternoon and continues to meet tonight. The district鈥檚 negotiations team is also meeting with SEIU this evening.

Statement from Sacramento City Unified School District Superintendent and Board President Following Discovery of Racist Graffiti at Rosemont High School

Sacramento, CA - Sacramento City Unified School District is investigating an incident of racist graffiti that was discovered near the end of the school day at Rosemont High School on Tuesday, March 22. Immediately upon discovery, school administrators worked quickly to have the graffiti removed from a second-floor hallway and began reviewing security footage to provide evidence to law enforcement.

Sacramento, CA 鈥 Following a mediation session that went late into the night on Monday, the Sacramento City Unified School District鈥檚 negotiations team continued to meet with representatives from the Sacramento City Teachers Association (SCTA) bargaining team and two state appointed mediators throughout the day on Tuesday.
