Contractor Prequalification

AB 1565

California Assembly Bill (AB) 1565 is a new law that went into effect on January 1, 2014. This law requires a school district with over 2,500 students to pre-qualify bidders (General and M/E/P subcontractors) for construction contracts awarded on or after January 1, 2014 if the total project value is $1,000,000 or more,and if the project is funded, in whole or in part, with State bond funds. In accordance with AB 1565, 麻豆果冻传媒 will utilize a pre-qualification process. Bidders may pre-qualify with 麻豆果冻传媒 by applying online.

Students at several 麻豆果冻传媒 schools will participate in National No One Eats Alone Day on Friday, February 12. During the student-led lunchtime initiative, students sit with new friends and classmates to reinforce a message that all students are valued and accepted by their peers.

Initial Charter Petition Process
Please note the steps below:

  • Review Charter Administrative Regulations, Board Policies, and Resolutions prior to submitting a petition
  • Petitions must be delivered to the Office of the Superintendent
  • Petitions must be submitted between September 1 and March 1 to begin operations for the following school year
  • Public Hearing will be held no later than 30 days after petition submission
  • Board Action will be held no later than 60 days after petition submission, provided, however, that the date be extended for an additional 30 days upon written mutual agreement
