MATERNITY LEAVE ~ Pregnancy Disability Leave (PDL)
In preparation for maternity time off, you will need to do the following:
Family and Medical Leave Act and California Family Rights Act (“FMLA / CFRA”)
The Family and Medical Leave Act and California Family Rights Act (“FMLA / CFRA”) provide eligible employees the opportunity to take unpaid, job-protected leave for certain specified reasons.
The maximum amount of leave an employee may use is either 12 or 26 weeks within a 12-month period depending on the reasons for the leave.
Catastrophic Leave Forms
Human Resource Services will negotiate a Catastrophic Leave Memorandum of Understanding followed by donation requests to be processed.
