School libraries are at the core of learning in today’s information age, and are one of a child’s first opportunities to discover the wondrous joys of reading and exploration. Here at Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ we understand the importance of sending our students on to college and careers with the skills that will allow them to be successful, accomplished and create a positive impact within their communities. We strive to empower our learners through the explicit teaching of 21st century literacy skills and to create a spark of joy around lifelong learning and foster lifelong reading.

School Bus Safety Rules

• Go directly from the bus stop.
• Plan the safest route with the fewest streets to cross.
• If possible cross streets and corners, using crosswalks if available. Look in all directions before crossing and when safe walk across the street.

Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½â€™s Student Support Centers (SSC) began in 1992 with support from the California Healthy Start program.  Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ was particularly successful in obtaining these grants and established SSC’s at many of the district’s neediest schools.

Violations

Students who violate any of the rules and regulations will receive a negative Bus Conduct Report and will be subject to a normal progression of penalties.

The Common Core State Standards provide a consistent, clear understanding of what students are expected to learn, so teachers and parents know what they need to do to help them.
