Joint Statement from Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ and SEIU Regarding Compensation
Sacramento, CA - The Sacramento City Unified School District (Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½) and Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Local 1021 have reached an agreement to close out contract reopener negotiations for the previous 2022-2023 school year.
This historic agreement demonstrates the significant value that Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ places on retaining and recruiting the finest classified staff to support our students, teachers and facilities. It also ensures that SEIU unit members will be elevated to a salary that is more reflective of their immense value to the District.
Sac City Unified Collecting Winter Jackets for Student Jacket Drive
Sacramento, CA - The Sacramento City Unified School District is organizing a Jacket Drive for its students most in need. Bring new or gently used jackets for students to help them stay warm this winter. All jacket sizes are welcome for our TK through high school aged students.
Jackets can be donated at the Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ Serna Center (5735 47th Ave, Sacramento) now through Friday, November 17. In the front lobby, donors will find a large blue bin to leave the coats for kids between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Two self-paced online learning modules on how to instruct using distance learning and accessibility tools for students with disabilities.
Phase Three: Priority Standards for the 2020-2021 School Year
The district has updated scope and sequence documents in math and ELA by grade level/math course for the 2020-2021 school year. These documents outline the required sequence for teachers to follow in each grade level, are focused on priority standards and provide excellent guidance for teachers.
