Please remember to complete your 2022-23 SPSA Mid-Year Review by December 23, 2022. You can find the Mid-year Review form in DTS under the title, 2022-23 SPSA Mid-Year Review.

Principal Bulletin Informational

SHPD Behavior Hearing Trainings on August 24th and 25th
All Grades

The Student Hearing and Placement Department will host two behavior review training sessions. Sessions will be held on:

  • Wednesday, August 24th at 10:00 a.m.
  • Thursday, August 25th at  2:00 p.m.

All new administrators are strongly encouraged to attend. In addition, administrators not familiar with the hearing process should attend.

403b and 457 Plan Providers 鈥 Access to School Sites
Administrative Services

Only the contracted third Party Administrator (TPA)  MidAmerica, Zuk Financial, Valic, Hartford, and CalPERS will be permitted access to our campuses as well as Washington National (formerly Conseco); then with district and site administers approved appointments for IRS Compliance Educational purposes only. Individual Tax Sheltered Annuity representatives may leave information in front district/school offices for interested staff to make contact for appointments on personal time. There is no selling permitted on district property.

Apply to Provide Input for the Next Generation Science Assessments
All Grades

The California Technical Assistance Center (CalTAC) has an opportunity for K鈥12 science teachers, administrators, and parents to participate in the 2014 Science Stakeholder Meetings, which will be hosted by the California Department of Education and Educational Testing Service (ETS).

These meetings will give participants the opportunity to provide input to the development of science assessments aligned to the Next Generation Science Standards. The input gathered from stakeholders will be shared with State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tom Torlakson as he prepares recommendations for the California State Board of Education for the new science assessments.
