Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½â€™s Student Support Centers (SSC) began in 1992 with support from the California Healthy Start program. Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ was particularly successful in obtaining these grants and established SSC’s at many of the district’s neediest schools.

LGBTQ Task Force
Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Questioning
Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ convenes a monthly LGBTQ Task Force to address district-wide policy, program and training issues related to supporting LGBTQ students. It’s goal is to help foster school environments that are welcoming and safe for all.
The LGBTQ Task Force has been meeting for 10 years and includes students, parents, school staff, administrators and community members. The Task Force meets once a month during the school year at different Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ campuses. Everyone is welcome to join. Please click below for a schedule of meetings this year.
