Sacramento City Unified Unveils Historic Action Plan to Improve Student supports, Student Disciplinary Practices and Minimize Racial Disparities
Sacramento, CA - The Sacramento City Unified School District (Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½) today unveiled a comprehensive action plan for overhauling practices that in the past have resulted in disproportionately high suspension rates for students with disabilities, particularly Black and African-American students with disabilities.

As part of the standard renewal process, district staff publishes a summary report outlining key findings from the review of the charter school’s submitted petition. These reports, along with the charter petition and hearing dates, can be found on the Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ website at /charter-renewal.

August 8, 2024
At the August 8 meeting of the Sacramento City Unified School District Board, the Board welcomed new student Board Member Justine Chueh-Griffith, a senior at West Campus High School.
The Board heard an informational update on the Summer Matters programs that ran this summer from June 24 – July 2 serving TK through 12th grade students. Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½â€™s Summer Matters learning programs are designed to minimize summer learning loss and provide opportunities for academic intervention and enrichment.
