SPSA Mid-Year Review Save the Date

The SPSA Mid-year Review form will open on November 14, 2022, and will close on December 23, 2022. To prepare for the review, please collect local data that will help you determine whether your planned high-leverage strategies/activities have been effective in achieving your goals thus far. This Mid-year review and analysis should assist in making updates to your SPSA in preparation for the 2023-24 school year.

Health Services Update 鈥 OTC Test Kits/Stay Home Sick & Report Positive Tests/911 Calls

OTC Test Kit Distribution
Over-the Counter (OTC)/At-Home Test kits are being delivered to campuses this week for distribution to all students and staff members. These tests are for students/staff to have on hand at home for any illness or symptoms that may arise, or if exposed. This aligns with our continued effort to keep testing easy and accessible for all. Distribute these tests to all students, staff and contracted staff this week.
Education Foundation for California Schools Grant

Dear site leaders,
There is a wonderful grant opportunity and we鈥檙e asking you to help spread the word with the teachers at your school site. Please see the attached flyer.
These grants are available through the Education Foundation of California and teachers are invited to apply for grants that support programs intended to improve student achievement in core subjects.

LGBTQ+ Support Services Program
All Grades
I鈥檓 reaching out to let folks know that Tuesday 10/18, the Connect Center will have an LGBTQ+ Drop-In hour via Zoom from 3:30PM-4:30PM. We hope to create a safe space for staff to ask questions and share ideas on ways that we can best support queer and transgender youth in our schools.
This drop-in slot will occur every third Tuesday (see attached flyer for Zoom link/details).
We look forward to building community with all of you!
Red Ribbon Week Activities
Join 麻豆果冻传媒 as we celebrate Red Ribbon Week (October 23rd-31st) and being alcohol, tobacco and drug free.
This year鈥檚 theme is 鈥淐elebrate Life: Live Drug Free鈥.
In recognition of this weeklong nationally celebrated event, all 麻豆果冻传媒 schools have been provided with Red Ribbon Week supplies such as poster, wristbands and other awareness materials that can be used to engage students and families in tobacco and vaping prevention.

employee isolation guidance now aligns and links to , therefore staff may return from isolation once they have a negative test after Day 5, and may test repeatedly (same as students).
