Health eTraining Courses
We have developed seven different sessions that address common health conditions within the school setting. This information is intended to be informational only, and does not substitute for medical advice in the event of an emergency. In the event of an emergency, please call 911 immediately.
All students with health conditions should be managed by their own primary care providers. However, some conditions require additional monitoring within the school setting. These modules can be used as a reference for all school personnel. Additional, specific instructions may be developed for individual students as needed.

- Wear disposable gloves or reusable utility gloves
- Double bag all soiled materials and dispose immediately into trash
- Place all needles or sharp objects in special puncture-proof containers
- Use EPA-registered disinfectants according to the manufacturer鈥檚 instructions
Regulated biohazard waste is typically not found in the school setting.
