John Fowler Named to Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford Board of Directors

PALO ALTO, Calif.鈥Lucile Packard Children鈥檚 Hospital Stanford announces the appointment of John Fowler to its Board of Directors, effective November 1, 2024.

Fowler brings a distinguished career in leadership roles across various industries, including health care, technology, and logistics. Most recently he served as CEO and co-founder of Kezar Life Sciences, a biotechnology company based in South San Francisco. Under his leadership, the company discovered and developed novel small molecule therapeutics for the treatment of autoimmune diseases and cancer. Fowler also co-founded and led HealthCPA, a medical expense management company that helped patients and health plan members manage their medical expenses. Shortly after receiving his MBA, Fowler served as the CEO of Aero Logistics, a leading 鈥渨hite glove鈥 logistics provider to multiple industries transporting high-value products including medical and scientific equipment.

Fowler is a Stanford alumnus, holding both a BA (1994) and MBA (2000) from Stanford University. In addition, he has a long-standing relationship with Stanford University, having served in multiple volunteer roles for the Graduate School of Business.
