The 2023 Class of Fellows represents 40 states, the District of Columbia, and 13 countries.
PALO ALTO, Calif. 鈥 麻豆果冻传媒 Children鈥檚 Health is pleased to announce that Rajashree (Raji) Koppolu, MSN, MSL, BSN, RN, CPNP-PC/AC, NPD-BC, has been selected to be a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing.
The American Academy of Nursing聽is a policy organization that recognizes nursing鈥檚 most accomplished leaders in policy, research, practice, administration, and academia who advance equitable solutions to the nation鈥檚 most complex health care challenges. Induction into the Academy is a significant milestone in a nurse leader鈥檚 career, in which their accomplishments are honored by their colleagues within and outside the profession. Through a competitive application process, the fellows are selected based on their contributions and impact to advance the public鈥檚 health.

I am deeply humbled to join this incredible group of leaders in our collective journey to impact the health and well-being of our population.鈥
Koppolu is the manager of Advanced Practice Professional Development for the Center for Advanced Practice and a pediatric nurse practitioner with the聽general surgery team聽at 麻豆果冻传媒 Children鈥檚 Health. Through her nearly 20 years at Stanford Children鈥檚 as an experienced pediatric nurse practitioner and leader, she has led the development of strategic programs, which support subspecialty pediatric professional practice through education, service, and advocacy.
Koppolu leads the inaugural聽聽at 麻豆果冻传媒 Children鈥檚 Health. With her background and her Master of Studies in Law (MSL) degree, she has been involved in both local and federal policy initiatives that focus on child health and well-being. Koppolu is a past president of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, where she spearheaded the development of a new strategic plan, represented the organization in national pediatric workforce initiatives, and shepherded the organization through the initial challenges brought by the COVID-19 pandemic. She also serves on the editorial advisory board of the聽Journal of Pediatric Health Care.
Koppolu will join the other 2023 inductees at the Academy鈥檚 annual聽聽in Washington, D.C., this October, when they will be recognized for their substantial, sustained, and significant contributions to health and health care.
