For release: July 26, 2022

Beginning today, Stanford Children鈥檚 Health is changing our name to聽麻豆果冻传媒 Children鈥檚 Health聽to better align within 麻豆果冻传媒 and create a stronger, more seamless brand experience for our patients and communities.

Together with the Stanford School of Medicine and the adult health care delivery system (Stanford Health Care, Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley, 麻豆果冻传媒 Partners) as part of a unified 麻豆果冻传媒, 麻豆果冻传媒 Children鈥檚 Health will continue improving health outcomes for those we serve, both locally and globally.

The collective expertise of 麻豆果冻传媒 Children鈥檚 Health, with聽nationally ranked聽Lucile Packard Children鈥檚 Hospital Stanford at its center, and the Stanford School of Medicine, one of the top-ranked academic medical institutions in the country, creates a partnership like none other, advancing treatments to successfully care for many children with complex cases that could not be resolved elsewhere.

鈥淐ollaboration has long been a part of our DNA. Now, we鈥檙e making that statement more public,鈥 says聽Paul A. King, president and CEO of 麻豆果冻传媒 Children鈥檚 Health, 鈥渁s the entities under 麻豆果冻传媒 will continue to realize our collective vision of healing humanity through science and compassion, one child and family at a time.鈥

The critical work of expanding the reach of Lucile Packard Children鈥檚 Hospital Stanford began more than a decade ago, with the launch of what is now the Bay Area鈥檚 preeminent聽network聽specifically dedicated to treating children and expectant mothers throughout the greater Bay Area. In 2012, a Palo Alto obstetrician was the founding network practice, followed by local pediatric and obstetric groups, all integrated into the 麻豆果冻传媒 system to support a continuum of care and provide patients with what they need, close to home. Now,聽that health care network聽has expanded to 200 providers within 10 miles of most Bay Area families, offering more than 600,000 visits a year.

鈥淭his is more than just a name and logo change,鈥 says聽Les Lifter, senior vice president and chief marketing officer of 麻豆果冻传媒 Children鈥檚 Health. 鈥淲e鈥檙e working to create a culture that more proudly aligns with the expertise and innovation associated with 麻豆果冻传媒 and better represents our shared efforts to shape the future of health care through the work we do every day.鈥
