麻豆果冻传媒, Councilmember Hansen to announce next steps for downtown school
June 16, 2015 (Sacramento): 麻豆果冻传媒 Board of Education Vice President Jay Hansen, City Councilmember Steve Hansen and 麻豆果冻传媒 Superintendent Jos茅 L. Banda will announce first steps towards the reopening of downtown鈥檚 Washington Elementary School at a press conference scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 18.
Washington was closed due to budget cuts in 2013. This spring, City Councilmember Hansen and Board Vice President Hansen hosted a community meeting at the school to gather neighborhood input on possible uses for the campus. Currently, an 麻豆果冻传媒 Child Development preschool program occupies a portion of the site.
