Available Five Days a Week For All Community Members

Sacramento, CA - The Sacramento City Unified School District (Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½) Nutrition Services Department is providing a mobile food pantry this summer for Sacramento community members, no Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ enrollment is necessary.

The food boxes include grocery items and fresh, local produce and are available on a first come, first served basis. The food distribution program is in partnership with No Kid Hungry and the Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services. CalFRESH enrollment and resources staff from the River City Food Bank are also available for community members at all the mobile food pantry distribution sites.

The curbside, grab-and-go mobile food pantry is available 8 a.m. – 9:30 a.m., Monday through Friday until August 12, 2022, at five different locations. Learn more about the mobile food pantry locations at .

The Sacramento City Unified School District (Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½) launched its Central Kitchen Project, where food is prepared locally and sent to schools. The project is being funded by Measure R which voters passed in 2012, to allow the district to improve the health and safety of children. Learn more at thecentralkitchen.org.
