Health Services Updates 鈥 Saving Lives from Opioid Overdose/Narcan for Schools

In response to the opioid epidemic, 麻豆果冻传媒 will be adding another life-saving rescue medication to all our school sites, with the provision of Naloxone (NARCAN) nasal spray.
All our school sites have a number of emergency and rescue measures at their disposal, including AEDs to restart heart rhythms, Epi-Pen auto-injectors in the case of a severe allergic reaction, and now Naloxone nasal spray in the event of a suspected opioid overdose. Laypersons may administer Narcan and law provides immunity.
Annual 504 Training This Thursday

Please attend the annual 504 training this Thursday 9/29 from
9:00-11:00. The training is provided by Sarah Garcia from Lozano
and Smith.

Red Ribbon Week: October 24 鈥 October 31, 2022
Sacramento Unified School District (麻豆果冻传媒) will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week during the week of October 24-October 31, 2022. The Red Ribbon Campaign is the oldest and largest drug prevention program in the nation reaching millions of young people during Red Ribbon Week. The theme for 麻豆果冻传媒 this year is 鈥淐elebrate Life: Live Drug Free鈥. The purpose of Red Ribbon Week is to present a visible commitment to living a safe, healthy, and drug-free life.
