Fair, Accurate, Inclusive, and Respectful Education Act (FAIR)
The FAIR Education Act (also known as Senate Bill 48) was signed into law in 2011. It requires that California public schools provide Fair, Accurate, Inclusive and Respectful representations of our diverse ethnic and cultural population in the K-12 grade history and social studies curriculum.

The following question was submitted regarding the RFP for Thomas Jefferson located at 1619 N St, Sacramento:
Question: Section IV, Sub-Section A, Item 9 鈥 鈥淒o the will serve utility letters need to specify a particular size of building?鈥
Answer: No, just note that the site will be served with water, sewer, electric power, natural gas and other utilities for the cafeteria facility.

Partnership with 麻豆果冻传媒 and Sacramento Public Library is aimed at combating summer learning loss
July 5, 2016 (Sacramento): To help kids stay sharp this summer, Sacramento barbers are partnering with 麻豆果冻传媒 and Sacramento Public Library on a literacy drive that rewards students for reading.
Ten barbershops have agreed to give away 30 free haircuts this summer to students who read a book to a barber. Sacramento Public Library is supplying 300 books for the initiative.
