CAC Information
The Community Advisory Committee (CAC) acts in an advisory capacity to the Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA). The Community Advisory Committee supports individuals with exceptional needs ages 0-22 years and their families who are served by the Sacramento City Unified School District. This committee provides an opportunity for parents, professionals and other community members to provide important input as it relates to our special education programs.
Budget Services
Welcome to the world of Budget Services! 11.5 FTE provide customer service to sites and departments who in turn, facilitate services to students. We establish, maintain and oversee more than 100,000 accounts within the District’s $732 million budget for 2019-20. We provide detailed information of how the District spends its resources. In addition, Budget Services reports expenditure information to federal, state and local government on a regular basis.
District Wide Advisory Committee
Purpose of the Career Technical Education (CTE) District Wide Advisory Committee:
The Sacramento City Unified School District Career Technical Education Department is responsible for development and implementation of career technical classes. According to federal and state guidelines, these classes should be organized into a scope and sequence and meet industry standards. It is important for the CTE committee to be comprised of a variety of people including, but not limited to: business partners, community leaders, parents, students, educators and other interested parties.

The mission of the Career Technical Education Department is to support and connect educators and business partners by developing career preparation and work-based learning opportunities that prepare students for a bright future — Career and College Ready.
