Compensatory Education Update & Next Steps

Recently, 麻豆果冻传媒 received updated guidance from the California Department of Education (CDE) regarding options for how to determine compensatory education. The guidance states that to expedite offers to families, the Special Education Department shall make offers of compensatory services directly to families. As a result of this guidance, we would like to ask for your support with next steps highlighted in the attached communication.

Health Services Update 鈥� Covid Protocols and PCR testing ending

PCR Testing Ending Feb 28, 2023
California Department of Public Health (CDPH) is changing to a fully antigen-based testing strategy across the state to support early medication access. PCR/molecular testing will no longer be available through our district after February 28, 2023. Rapid antigen testing and OTC distributions will continue. As a state, the guidance is to use OTCs as you would Tylenol in your medicine cabinet 鈥� have a stock handy and use if/when needed. Health Services Update 鈥� Nov/Thanksgiving Break At-Home/OTC Covid Tests & Medical Care for Students

Nov/Thanksgiving Break At-Home/OTC Covid Tests 鈥� starting this week and continuing into early next week, all school sites and departments will be getting another allocation of At-Home/OTC Covid test kits to distribute before Thanksgiving break.
To prevent individuals from returning to work/school while infectious, we need schools/departments to send out these Covid tests before leaving for Thanksgiving Break and remind individuals to test before returning.

At 麻豆果冻传媒 we work hard to ensure that students鈥� minds and bodies are ready for learning each day. In addition to the hard work our staff and parents/guardians do every day to prepare students for success in the classroom, we must also provide healthy food and beverages and physical activity, leading them to lifelong success.
