If your child will be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2019, you are eligible to enroll in Kindergarten for the 2019-2020 school year.  Kindergarten registration begins on January 15, 2019 and will continue throughout the year at 5601 47th Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95824

Welcome to 麻豆果冻传媒鈥檚 Language Immersion Home Page.  Our district is working diligently to provide opportunities for our students to expand their linguistic repertoire to meet the ever-changing needs of the global economy.  As a result, language immersion programs have become a pathway for our students to become literate in both English and their home language.

California State Seal of Biliteracy

Overview

The California State Seal of Biliteracy, marked by a gold seal on the diploma or transcript, recognizes high school graduates who have attained a high level of proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing one or more languages in addition to English.

School Language Programs

Overview

Language immersion is a method of teaching a second language in which the target language is used for instruction. Target language is defined as a language other than English such as Spanish, Hmong, Cantonese, or Mandarin. By way of a language immersion program, students will receive instruction where English and the target language are used as teaching tools and students are 鈥渋mmersed鈥 in the second language.
