But you won鈥檛 find a hipster foodie working the window. This truck 鈥 and the fancy restaurant it will pull up next to 鈥 will be run entirely by elementary school students.

鈥7-11 Committee鈥 will consider re-use and disposition of sites not needed for schools in the fall

April 17, 2013 (Sacramento) 鈥 The Sacramento City Unified School District is forming a 鈥7-11 Committee鈥 (a committee with seven or 11 members) to advise the Board of Education on the reuse, repurposing and disposition of school buildings and vacant sites not needed for school purposes. The formation of the committee follows the Board鈥檚 decision last month to close seven chronically under-enrolled elementary schools next fall.

Steps for using an inhaler

Quick-relief medications, like albuterol, are usually delivered by a device called an inhaler, that releases the medication through the mouth and directly into the lungs. These inhalers can be used by themselves or with an additional device attached to it called a spacer. A spacer enhances inhalation of medication in those not coordinated enough to breathe in or press down on an inhaler within the proper time of medication release.

  • Notice the signs & symptoms
  • Try to keep calm
  • Medicate as prescribed
  • If trouble walking or talking due to shortness of breath or fingernails or lips become blue CALL FOR AN AMBULANCE THEN CALL THE PARENT(S)
  • Do NOT leave child alone

By knowing the signs and symptoms of an asthma attack a person is better able to react as soon as possible to try and relieve the symptoms or know when it is time get help.
