AB354 Requires Tdap Shot for 7th Graders
For the 2012-2013 school year, and all future school years, all students entering, advancing or transferring into 7th grade will need proof of an adolescent whooping cough booster immunization (called 鈥淭dap鈥) for school in the fall. This requirement applies to all public and private schools. The new requirement was signed into law in 2010.
7th Grade Tdap Requirement
All students entering 7th grade will need proof against whooping cough (Tdap) before they can start school. Students who have not met the requirement will not be able to go to school.

Some classified jobs within our district are physically demanding and requires individuals to lift and carry on a regular basis. Before entering into a position, it is reasonable and appropriate to determine that there is a match between what a position requires physically and the physical ability of the candidate. This is a pre-employment, post offer physical ability test that enables the candidate and school district to screen in candidates whom can perform the job tasks within a position before they begin working.
If your classified position requires lifting and carrying on a regular basis, you will be provided a Candidate Authorization Form.
