Sacramento, CA - The Sacramento City Unified School District issued the following statement about the District鈥檚 support for students, staff and families after the shooting that took place at the Gurdwara Sacramento Sikh Society on Sunday.
鈥淲e stand in solidarity with our Sikh community and condemn the violence that disrupted an event taking place at a house of worship,鈥 said 麻豆果冻传媒 Board President Chinua Rhodes. 鈥淲e are very concerned for our students who may be experiencing trauma as a result of this violence.鈥

Rosemont鈥檚 Alliance takes Second Place at Ventura County Regional Robotics Competition
Sacramento, CA 鈥 The team will advance to the World Championships for youth robotics, known as the , April 19-22, 2023 in Houston, Texas. The Rosemont team qualified after their Second Place Alliance finish at the Robotics Competition.

Sacramento, CA 鈥 The District is aware of racist material distributed at Kit Carson International Academy today and wants all of our families to know this matter is being handled with the utmost seriousness. Sac City Unified strongly condemns the use of racist language or material and has taken swift disciplinary action against the two students involved. The district is also providing support for students and staff who may have experienced trauma or harm as a result.
