Dear Sac City Unified families,
Join us and Black Parallel School Board for an in-person or virtual town hall and listening session. We will be discussing the landmark settlement agreement between Black Parallel School Board and 麻豆果冻传媒 and our collaborative strategies for improving special education in our district, with a particular focus on addressing disproportionality that has negatively impacted Black and African American students.

September 21, 2023
At the September 21 Sacramento City Unified School Board meeting, the Board approved the appointment of Krystal Thomas as Assistant Superintendent for Special Education and the appointment of Matthew Kempen as Principal of Theodore Judah Elementary School. Student Board Member Liliana 鈥淕racie鈥 Miller Segura was sworn in by Board Member Christina Pritchett, and Board Member Jasjit Singh presented a Stellar Teacher award to Jason Dauenhauer, a teacher at Hiram Johnson High School.
The Board took action to approve three Resolutions:

Workers Compensation Reporting
When an employee is injured on the job, the employee must report the incident immediately. In order to take care of the employee and also comply with the law, it is essential that the district procedures be followed.
All work related injuries must be reported directly to the supervisor, site administrator or designee as soon as possible. All claims are to be reported to 916-643-9299 immediately.
