English Language Proficiency assessment for California (ELPAC)
formerly California English Language Development Test
The English Language Proficiency assessment for California (ELPAC) replaces the California English Language Development Test (CELDT). The ELPAC is aligned with the 2012 California English Language Development Standards and is comprised of two assessments: 1) An initial assessment used to identify students as English learners and 2) An annual summative assessment to measure a student’s progress in learning English their English language proficiency level.
The ELPAC will go operational in 2018.

SEIU Catastrophic Sick Leave Bank
Attention SEIU member, please be advised that the opening period to donate to the SEIU Catastrophic Leave Bank/Pool is from August 1st through January 31st within the current school year. SEIU members interested in donating to the bank/pool may do so by downloading and completing the attached form. Once completed, please submit to the Human Resource Services Department, Box 770 and/or fax to 916-399-2016.
