Volunteer
To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world.

Overview

The Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ Volunteer Program believes that parents, grandparents, neighbors and community partners have a wealth of ideas and talents to share with our students and our schools. Volunteers help foster stronger school/community relationships by creating a common ownership in the success of our schools, as well as, demonstrating the importance of community service to our students. All Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ Volunteer Program requirements are designed with student and adult safety in mind.

School Site Communications

Overview

Your school’s principal and teachers may use additional platforms for school and classroom communications. Back to School Night is a great opportunity to connect with your student’s teachers and make sure you know how to stay in touch with each of them. You can also reach out to your school if you’re unsure of what platforms they are using for family outreach.

District Communications

Overview

You may receive a variety of communications from Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½, mostly through ParentSquare. We send out a family newsletter every other week on Wednesdays, called the Sac City Scroll, which contains general information and updates happening within the community and our schools. We also send out budget and negotiations updates or major announcements on occasion. You can also visit our website’s Latest News to see these announcements, updates and newsletters.
