Dental Examination
Dental care is a high priority for the children in our programs. Each child is expected to have a completed dental exam within the first 45 days of enrollment, and yearly thereafter. Staff is available to assist families in locating dental care

Physical Examination
Each child is required to have a current complete (within the previous 12 months) physical examination within the first 30 days of enrollment, and yearly thereafter. Staff is available to assist families in locating a doctor, if needed.
Nutrition Policy
The Child Development Program follows the guidelines of 鈥淐hild & Adult Care Food Program.鈥
Sacramento is nationally recognized as the 鈥淔arm to Fork Capital of America.鈥 As such, our nutrition programs offered to children and their families promote eating more fresh fruits and vegetables.
Medication
Medication will be administered only to students whose parent and physician deem it necessary for potentially life-threatening medical conditions or for those who need medication administered during the school day in order to interact appropriately at school.

Adult TB Clearance Record
A TB clearance record is required for each adult who wishes to participate in any part of our program, including field trips. The TB test must be done and read within one year prior to the date the child enrolls in the program and must be repeated every four years as long as the child remains in the program.
Child TB Clearance Records and Immunizations
TB clearance records and up-to-date immunizations are required to be on file before a child enters the program. The TB test or risk assessment must be done within one year prior to the date the child enrolls in school. Immunizations must be kept current to ensure continued enrollment.
