Course Requirements
To obtain a diploma of graduation from a Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ high school, students need to complete the following course credits in grades 9 through 12.
English Language Proficiency assessment for California (ELPAC)
formerly California English Language Development Test
The English Language Proficiency assessment for California (ELPAC) replaces the California English Language Development Test (CELDT). The ELPAC is aligned with the 2012 California English Language Development Standards and is comprised of two assessments: 1) An initial assessment used to identify students as English learners and 2) An annual summative assessment to measure a student’s progress in learning English their English language proficiency level.
The ELPAC will go operational in 2018.
Moving Youth to Jobs Travel Training
Need assistance using public transportation? Need a better way to get around?
Paratransit Inc.’s Moving Youth to Jobs Travel Training program is intended as an opportunity for youth and young adults to be able to navigate public transportations bus, light rail, Jump Bike and Smart Ride systems independently. By acquiring specific travel/ mobility skills, young adults will be empowered to travel efficiently and arrive to work on time. This program affords youth an opportunity to utilize public transit and other modes of transport to reach destinations of their choice.
