This Handbook provides essential policy and procedural information on various important topics, including health and safety, pesticides, standards of behavior, nutrition, attendance, and more.

Apply to a High School Specialty Program
Applications accepted November 4 - 22
The Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ High School Specialty Program application window officially opens Monday, November 4 at 8:00am and will run through Friday, November 22 at 5:00pm. This is an opportunity for your student to apply for enrollment in a high school specialty program for the 2025-2026 school year, based on space availability.

Transitional Kindergarten
Sacramento City Unified has expanded its transitional kindergarten to 39 locations for the 2024-2025 school year.
Transitional Kindergarten (TK) is a stepping stone between preschool and kindergarten. The optional program provides students with an additional year of preparation, so they enter kindergarten with stronger academic, social, and emotional skills needed for future success in school.
