LGBTQ+ Support Services Program
All Grades
I鈥檓 reaching out to let folks know that Tuesday 10/18, the Connect Center will have an LGBTQ+ Drop-In hour via Zoom from 3:30PM-4:30PM. We hope to create a safe space for staff to ask questions and share ideas on ways that we can best support queer and transgender youth in our schools.
This drop-in slot will occur every third Tuesday (see attached flyer for Zoom link/details).
We look forward to building community with all of you!
Red Ribbon Week Activities
Join 麻豆果冻传媒 as we celebrate Red Ribbon Week (October 23rd-31st) and being alcohol, tobacco and drug free.
This year鈥檚 theme is 鈥淐elebrate Life: Live Drug Free鈥.
In recognition of this weeklong nationally celebrated event, all 麻豆果冻传媒 schools have been provided with Red Ribbon Week supplies such as poster, wristbands and other awareness materials that can be used to engage students and families in tobacco and vaping prevention.

Annual Time Accounting Training for Your Federally Funded Staff
All Grades
As a condition of receiving federal funds, any staff member whose
salary is partially or fully funded with federal dollars must
participate in a training on Federal Accountability. In order to
meet this requirement, the Office of State and Federal Programs
has set up a quick Google slide presentation and a checking for
understanding form.
The presentation should only take 10-15 minutes and is critical
to the continued receipt of federal funds.

Your School Site Council should review and, if necessary, update
your school鈥檚 Parent and Family Engagement Policy and
School-Parent Compact at the start of each school year (ESSA
Section 1116[b][1]).
School Site Council Elections

If you have vacant seats on your School Site Council (SSC) please do the following:
- Review the attached slide deck (see yellow box to the right to download) for information about correctly a composed SSC. You must have at least ten members.
- Review the SSC election materials at /ssc.
- Distribute SSC member applications and ballots (hard copy, email, Google forms/surveys, etc.).
- Hold an election for the vacant seats.
