Sacramento City Unified Issues Statement in Response to DACA Repeal
The Sacramento City Unified School District today issued the following statement regarding the President’s announcement to terminate the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program to protect undocumented children of immigrants from deportation:

AB 1565
California Assembly Bill (AB) 1565 is a new law that went into effect on January 1, 2014. This law requires a school district with over 2,500 students to pre-qualify bidders (General and M/E/P subcontractors) for construction contracts awarded on or after January 1, 2014 if the total project value is $1,000,000 or more,and if the project is funded, in whole or in part, with State bond funds. In accordance with AB 1565, Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ will utilize a pre-qualification process. Bidders may pre-qualify with Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ by applying online.
