Preschool Programs
Serving children 3-5 years of age
Our preschool programs offer options for 3-5 year old children. Child must be 3 years old by September 1st. Priority is given to 4 year old children.
First Week of School
Home Visits
If you are enrolled in an Early Head Start/Head Start program, the teacher and possibly the teacher aide will schedule a visit with you in your home. This visit will help your child see the connection between home and school. Home visits are scheduled twice a year for children in the center-based program and once a week for children enrolled in the home-based program.
Is Your Child Kindergarten Ready?
Preschool prepares your child to succeed in school.
Benefits of preschool include:
- Enriching/supportive learning environments
- Support for children with various developmental strengths and challenges
- Community service referrals and support
- Home-visiting services
Adult TB Clearance Record
A TB clearance record is required for each adult who wishes to participate in any part of our program, including field trips. The TB test must be done and read within one year prior to the date the child enrolls in the program and must be repeated every four years as long as the child remains in the program.
