At the December 14 meeting of the Sacramento City Unified School District Board, the Board recognized two groups of Stellar Students.
Joint Statement from Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ and Teamsters Regarding Compensation
The Sacramento City Unified School District (Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½), Teamsters Union Local 150, and Teamsters Classified Supervisors (TCS) have reached agreements to close out contract reopener negotiations for the completed 2022-2023 school year for each unit.

Workers Compensation and Disability Management
Workers Compensation Reporting
When an employee is injured on the job, the employee must report the incident immediately. In order to take care of the employee and also comply with the law, it is essential that the district procedures be followed.
All work related injuries must be reported directly to the supervisor, site administrator or designee as soon as possible. All claims are to be reported to 916-643-9299 immediately.

Sacramento New Technology Early College
High School
SNTECHS is a small dependent charter school with in the Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½. Project-Based Learning is at the core of our teaching and learning model with a focus on our 5 Learning Outcomes (Knowledge & Thinking, Collaboration, Written Communication, Oral Communication, and Agency). SNTECHS also has 2 CTE Pathways - Computer Science & Film Production. Some of these courses are also articulate with the local community college.

Sac City Unified uses ParentSquare for district communication, primarily with email, text and app notifications. Many of our school sites also use ParentSquare for school communication, including direct communication with your student’s teachers and site administrators.
Independent Study Option
Per state law, districts offering independent study are required to comply with Ed Code and Assembly Bill (AB) requirements. In-person instruction is encouraged and beginning in the 2024-2025 school year students will be on campus for a minimum of 1 day a week. For students and families interested in an independent study option, Sacramento City Unified will offer a long-term independent study program. For students unable to attend for a limited period, such as COVID quarantine, the district will offer inter
