Buenos días. Este es un mensaje importante del Distrito Escolar Unificado de la Ciudad de Sacramento. Las escuelas están cerradas hoy, pero queremos mantenerlo actualizado sobre el estado de la calidad del aire. Los niveles de calidad del aire se mantienen a niveles muy peligrosos esta mañana. Cuando la calidad del aire alcanza estos niveles, su hijo debe permanecer dentro de la casa y no hacer actividades al exterior hasta que la calidad del aire se mejore.

Sac City Schools Are Keeping Students Indoors Due To Poor Air Quality

UPDATED 11/14/18 @ 8:05 P.M. - Our schools will remain open Thursday, November 15th. We understand that many of our families count on us to provide students with a safe and supervised environment to go to during the day. We take this responsibility very seriously and before making the decision to keep our schools open, we did check on the air quality conditions at our schools and consulted with leadership at the Sacramento Air Quality Management District.

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for New Athletic Field at Hiram Johnson High School

What: After decades of playing on an old and outdated field, student athletes at Hiram Johnson High School can finally celebrate the grand opening of a new athletic field and facility paid for with voter approved bond money. To celebrate the grand opening of the new field, members of the Sacramento City Unified Board of Education, Superintendent, student athletes, coaches, teachers and school staff will be holding a ribbon cutting ceremony.
