Title-I Funding for School Sites
Do you need help identifying if your funding request meets the Title-I eligibility requirements?
Title I funding is restricted to specific purposes. These purposes are governed by a unique set of laws and controlled by language found in the budget item governing the program.
Here are a few items to consider:
Private Schools
The Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA), also known Every Child Succeeds Act (ESSA) provides benefits to low-income students enrolled in non-profit, private or not-for-profit school sites. Public school districts are required to provide services to eligible private school students which are equitable to those provided to qualified public school students in the same district.
