REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL # 170401
The Sacramento City Unified School District is requesting proposals from providers of solid waste disposal and recycling services.
Request for Proposals (RFP) must be received prior to 2:00 P.M., on May 11, 2017. RFP’s must be submitted in a sealed envelope, marked with the RFP number and title, and returned to the Sacramento City Unified School District, Purchasing Services, 3051 Redding Ave., Sacramento, CA 95820.
West Campus celebrates state basketball varsity win with victory rally on Friday morning
WHAT: The Sacramento City Unified School District will host a victory rally honoring the West Campus girls’ varsity basketball team for winning the CIF state championship. Local elected and community leaders and all students on campus will gather in the school gym to honor the team, present medals and hold a victory rally.

SACRAMENTO, CA – The Sacramento City Unified School District’s (Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½) Board of Education has completed its schedule of town hall meetings and finalized results of its online survey that sought community input on the desired qualities in a new superintendent. Eight meetings were held at schools and locations throughout the district with participation from over 372 attendees that represented a broad and diverse group of parents, students, staff and community members. Comments from each town hall are posted on the district website.

Leonardo da Vinci K-8 celebrates seasonal, healthy eating at special Spring Feast

Sacramento City Unified School District leaders will stand in solidarity with other safe haven districts and sanctuary city officials at ICE Director town hall to show its support for policies that protect the rights of undocumented immigrants.
The Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ will join other region leaders to send a strong message to federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials that it will continue to stand up for the rights of immigrant students and parents.
