Attend a Regional TK and Kindergarten Enrollment Event

The Sacramento City Unified School District (Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½) is hosting regional enrollment events to assist families with online enrollment applications for Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten. These events are designed to support families with technology or help filling out their applications.

Online registration for TK and Kindergarten will open on January 13, 2025.

To register for kindergarten, families will need to provide photo identification, address verification, proof of birth documentation, and the child’s immunization record.

December 19, 2024

At the December 19 meeting of the Sacramento City Unified School District Board, the Board recognized five students who attend Arthur A. Benjamin Health Professions High School as Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½ Stellar Students: Tayler Sadler, Kayla Yang, Aydrien Tacuri, Joshua Mbah, and Luz Pascual. These five students consistently rank at the top of their class academically and serve as active agents of change within our school culture. They volunteer for community events and take an active role in organizing school activities.

November 21, 2024

At the November 21 meeting of the Sacramento City Unified School District Board, the Board recognized Samantha Vasquez, a 6th grade student at Pony Express Elementary, as a Stellar Student. Samantha has attended Pony Express since kindergarten, and has outstanding attendance. She is responsible and kind to all students. Samantha has served on the student council and been a member of the football and basketball teams for the past two years. She takes her sports and school work seriously, practicing daily and focusing on making progress.

Holiday Curbside Grocery Box Distribution

holiday curbside grocery distribution on November 25 from 9am to 10am

Join us on Monday, November 25 from 9-10am for holiday curbside grocery boxes, thanks to Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½â€™s Nutrition Services department, the Central Kitchen, and Sacramento Food Bank and Family Services. 

You can pick up a box at one of the following school sites: 

  • Will C. Wood
  • Ethel Phillips
  • Sequoia
  • Pacific 
  • John Still

Families are encouraged to arrive early. There are 200 boxes at each site, and the distribution is first come, first served.
