Pediatrics
鈥淚 love being a pediatrician. To me it鈥檚 a calling and an honor to do what I do.鈥
Growing up, I thought it was my destiny to be a pediatrician because the word contains my name, Tricia. I love being a pediatrician. To me it鈥檚 a calling and an honor to do what I do. It does not feel like work. It鈥檚 just a core part of who I am.
I am a mother of four children. That鈥檚 something you can鈥檛 learn in residency, and it鈥檚 one of my greatest attributes. I understand what it鈥檚 like to raise a kid, be a role model, and work at the same time.
I鈥檝e been a pediatrician for over 20 years, and what I bring to the table is not only excellent medical training but also that intangible quality of having raised my own large family. I鈥檝e lived it, so I can empathize with what parents are going through. I want parents to know I鈥檓 here to support them, both as a doctor and as a fellow parent.
