For me, medicine has always been a wonderful combination of compassion and science. I chose pediatrics because I love being around children鈥搕hey are such a joy to work with.

I don鈥檛 tell families what to do; instead, I bring families into the discussion and we create plans together based on their input as well as mine. I鈥檓 a parent myself and I understand the difficulty of trying to be objective about your child. I help parents get the answers they need to make the best choices about their child鈥檚 health. Ultimately, I鈥檓 an advocate for their child鈥檚 health and an educator.

I bring what I鈥檝e learned as a parent as well as a doctor, to offer solutions and options that will improve their child鈥檚 health. My patients and their families give me so much joy, and I learn from them every day.
