Overview

Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford partners with El Camino Health – Mountain View Hospital to provide inpatient care for pediatric patients.

°Õ³ó±ðÌýPackard at El Camino (PEC) Unit is a 24-bed satellite unit of Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford. The General Pediatric Service at PEC offers comprehensive care for a variety of general pediatric illnesses. We also provide inpatient eating disorder services through Â鶹¹û¶³´«Ã½â€™s Division of Adolescent Medicine.

The care provided at PEC is multidisciplinary and draws from the expertise of on-site pediatric hospitalists from Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford (present 24 hours a day), specialized pediatric nursing staff, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, dietitians, child life and recreation specialists, social workers, and case managers, all in a child-friendly, intimate environment.

We strive to provide exceptional patient- and family-centered care by partnering wit patients and families on daily bedside rounds, emphasizing communication throughout the hospitalization, and coordinating with primary care providers to ensure a seamless transition of care.
